Exceptional Children’s Week was created as a means to bring awareness to the public about children with disabilities. It was also designed as a way to show support for these Children in our schools and to the special education programs that serve them. Click here to see how you can support our Super Heroes next week. Click here for information on World Down Syndrome day on 3/21/19 and for World Autism Awareness Day on 4/2/19.
Calling all VCE leaders. Let’s help the fifth grade class collect food to fill Kids School Break Bags for Meals by Grace.
Meals By Grace delivers “break bags” to supplement breakfast and lunch for students using a home delivery system. the bags are given out on Fall, Winder, Spring, and Summer breaks. The students who receive free or reduced meals through school would not have breakfast or lunch on the breaks without these “break bags”. Currently, we have 68 families on our home delivery program totaling 200 children. Every 120 bags made will supply a week’s worth of breakfast and lunch to each child during these times away from school. Please consider giving if you can.
Join us for an evening of desserts, dancing, face painting, and a photobooth. Come enjoy some family time with your VCE family as well as your own family. The dance this year will be completely free! Yes, you read that correctly! The PTO will be offering desserts, water, juice boxes, face painting, and a photobooth for free. We are so excited to be able to provide this completely free event this year. The DJ service is being provided by Bach to Rock of Johns Creek, and the dance is sponsored by Village Pediatrics at Vickery.
